Lotus Biopharma is committed to developing and delivering the highest quality microsphere based products with minimal side effects so as to improve our patients’ quality of life.

History

Dr. Chao Li and Dr. Kingteh Lin founded Lotus Biopharma and started R&D on pharmaceutical formulations in 2020. Drs. Chao Li, KingTeh Lin, and Nancy L. Li successfully established and patented our innovative microsphere-drug delivery system technology in March 2023.

Dr. Chao Li has over 15 years of experience in the field of long-term controlled drug release formulations. His extensive background in pharmaceuticals spans decades, during which he worked with established companies within the United States and Europe. This is further supplemented by his years spent practicing medicine. He began as a dermatology attending in China, where he had the unique opportunity to work with and advocate for patients with leprosy, and then received general surgery residency training at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, a hospital dedicated to serving under-resourced populations. All these experiences gave him an understanding of his patients’ unique concerns and highlighted the importance of improving their quality of life through medicine.
